Takeaways from the Sound Future Panel on Branding & Design
Last month I was invited to speak at a Branding & Design panel by Sound Future. It was in collaboration with some friends from The Travelers Club and Each One Teach One - super cool organizations in San Diego bringing design education and collaboration to the community. It was held at A.R.T.S. (A Reason To Survive) and I got a chance to meet some very cool designers like Rodrigo Calderon of Hello Janitor and collaborated with other San Diego creatives. It was such a pleasure to be able to share insights and real-life experiences with everyone in the audience and those who tuned in to the livestream.
No matter how early or far we are in our careers there’s always something we can learn from each other
Community is so important and we should aim to give back when possible
Provide value and flex your problem solving skills to land gigs
Keep it profesh but show empathy
