About: Janie Rochfort, also known as Betty Larkin, is a San Diego muralist, artist and designer. She has an incredible body of work and has painted murals for companies like Moniker General, Marie Forleo International and Acorns Investing.
Objective: To refresh the Betty Larkin website, reorganize portfolio and implement organic SEO for organic website visibility.
Challenge: The client had extensive work to show and the website needed to be organized in a way that makes updating portfolio pieces a breeze.
Friction Point: Difficult to use tech. Janie really wanted a portfolio that wasn’t just updated, but also one that she could maintain easily when needed.
Solution: I reorganized her entire portfolio and created modules that she can easily duplicate, add in new content and drop photos in. The website design was kept minimal so as not to compete with her art, but provide a container for all of her incredible work.
